Responsibilities
- Experience: Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience as an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic in a heavy manufacturing, processing, or production plant.
- Mechanical Expertise: Advanced knowledge of mechanical drive trains, power transmission systems, gearing, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
- Tool Proficiency: Mastery of precision measuring instruments, power tools, rigging equipment, and diagnostic tools.
- Electrical Knowledge: Basic understanding of motor controls and electrical safety (LOTO, 480V disconnects) to safely isolate equipment before working on mechanical components.
- Physical Capabilities: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work in tight machinery spaces, climb ladders/scaffolding, and stand for extended periods.
