We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-driven Buyout and Transfer Specialist (also known as our Inventory Driver) to champion seamless material transfers and inventory flow! Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Inventory & Transfer Coordination: Review purchase orders for accuracy, communicate with sales and warehouse teams, and manage start-to-finish transfers to ensure customer orders are loaded without delay.
  
  
• Driving & Fleet Safety: Safely operate a GMC van, conduct pre/post-trip inspections, maintain vehicle cleanliness, and strictly manage DOT logs, fuel sheets, and compliance paperwork.
  
  
• Warehouse & Stock Operations: Assist with material picking, packing, unloading, labeling, and staging; operate forklifts; and support regular cycle and spot counts.
  
  
• Admin & System Management: Input precise transfer data into the ERP system, manage interoffice mail/deliveries, keep documents organized, and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  
  

Requirements & Qualifications

• Licensing & Driving: Valid, clean New York State driver’s license with 1–2 years of delivery driving experience in the tri-state area.
  
  
• Equipment & Loading: 2–3 years of forklift experience with proven expertise loading and unloading box trucks and flatbeds.
  
  
• Industry Knowledge: Building materials experience is a plus, but not required.
  
  
• Core Competencies: communication, active listening, organization, basic math, independent problem-solving, and ERP data entry skills.
  
  
• Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 100 lbs, comfortably climb in/out of trucks and forklifts, and work in both indoor and outdoor weather environments.
