Job Description:General duties involve different workstations that include the following: -Assembles carton boxes by folding & bending &/or taping them into place. -Marks carton boxes according to product specifications. -Stands by conveyor belt and picks up product and places it in appropriate container. --Spot checks weight of product or that correct number of product is being placed in container. -Picks up trays filled with correct amount of product and puts trays through the wrapping machine and/or taping machine. -Inspects wrapped trays to make sure they are completely sealed. -Picks up wrapped trays and places them in carton boxes (cases). -Stacks boxes (cases) on a pallet. -Whenever possible, Packers are rotated to the different positions to cross-train and for ergonomic reasons to prevent cumulative trauma injury. Must be able to work in cold and hot environment.
