Begin your journey in precision manufacturing! We have immediate openings for CNC machine operators / CNC operators who prioritize quality and attention to detail. This role is a great fit for individuals with some experience who are seeking stability and ongoing development. Your responsibilities:
- Machine tending: safely load and unload parts from the CNC machine, ensuring the machining area is clear and ready for the next cycle.
- In-process inspection: perform continuous quality checks on finished parts using calipers and micrometers, immediately alerting the lead machinist to any parts out of tolerance.
- Deburring and finishing: use hand tools to deburr, clean, and prepare machined components for the next step in the fabrication process.
- Program support: assist senior CNC operators with simple tasks like touching off tools and making basic offset adjustments.
- Maintenance support: maintain a clean work cell, including managing chips, coolant levels, and general machine cleanliness.
