Begin your journey in precision manufacturing! We have immediate openings for CNC machine operators / CNC operators who prioritize quality and attention to detail. Your responsibilities:
- Machine tending: safely load and unload parts from the CNC machine, ensuring the machining area is clear and ready for the next cycle.
- In-process inspection: perform continuous quality checks on finished parts using calipers and micrometers, immediately alerting the lead machinist to any parts out of tolerance.
- Deburring and finishing: use hand tools to deburr, clean, and prepare machined components for the next step in the fabrication process.
- Program support: assist senior CNC operators with simple tasks like touching off tools and making basic offset adjustments.
- Maintenance support: maintain a clean work cell, including managing chips, coolant levels, and general machine cleanliness.

qualifications:

• up to 50 lbs. (heavy lifting)

skills:

• Able to read blueprints & schematics
• Perform machine set up, calibration and maintenance
• Basic metalworking skills, including forming, cutting and punching
• Operate manufacturing machinery
• Basic mechanical aptitude
• Inspect quality and defects of products
• Able to read CAD Drawings
• Use measurement devices such as calipers, micrometers, and tape measures
• Use of hand and power tools
• Proficiency in operating CNC machines, including set up and adjustments
• Laser cutting or engraving machine experience
• Safety Sensitive Job
• Proficiency in operating stamping press machines, including set up and adjustments
• Proficiency in operating brake press machines, including setup and adjustments
• Proficiency in operating injection mold machines, including set up and adjustments

dress code:
Shirts or t-shirts must have sleeves and be without any holes or rips. Pants without any holes or rips. No profane or suggestive texts and images. Closed toe and non slip footwear only.
