We are seeking a remote Pharmacists to work for a top managed care company. Fully remote but must be located or licensed in one of the following states: AZ, HI, TX, IL, FL, or PA
Pharmacy Advisor is a specially developed, clinical program. It provides a significant opportunity for all involved to be a part of an exciting, clinical program. The Pharmacy Advisor operations team will have a direct impact on the health and outcomes for patients with chronic disease states. Pharmacists and Technicians will receive messaging at critical points in care, use enhanced computer systems and leverage behavior modification/interviewing techniques that can be instrumental in driving optimal health outcomes and to provide personalized support to our targeted members. The team will work together to demonstrate the true value that Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians can have to their patients.
100% Remote
Requirements:
Work in a fast paced production environment; able to work with people in a team environment; meet individual performance goals. Colleague will be required to work mandatory overtime when needed.
Provides telephonic counseling, education, and support to patients in regards to medication therapy & regimens
interface via telephone with patient providers and pharmacies to resolve medication related issues
Other responsibilities as directed by supervisor and/or manager staff, and handling phone-based interactions with providers and patients.
Additional Requirements:
Required- 1+ years in Retail, LTC, Hospital or PBM pharmacy experience, or other pharmacist-to-patient consultation experience.
Preferred experience working with patients with chronic disease states, especially diabetes.
Preferred- Pharmacy knowledge, drug utilization review, excellent consultation skills with patients, strong customer service skills.
*PC literate, solid writing skills, knowledge of pharmacy laws, and accurate clinical information.
*Excellent communication skills. Ability to learn new operating systems and new communication strategies.
Must be flexible, organized and have a passion for working directly with patients
Bachelor's degree in pharmacy or Pharm D.
Must be located in either AZ, HI, TX, IL, FL, or PA and have an active pharmacist license in that state.
Shifts:
M-F & rotating Sat 8 hour shift starting between 9:00a - 11:00a CT.
Training will be 8:00a-4:30p CT.
