We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Tele-Health Nurse (RN or LPN) to provide exceptional telephonic support to patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers. In this role, you will manage inbound and outbound interactions to support prescription and specialty drug programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. You will coordinate essential services-including testing, monitoring, and counseling follow-ups-all while operating within the guidelines of the Nurse Practice Act and professional licensure.
Key Responsibilities
Patient Adherence & Support: Utilize your experience in Behavior Modification and Motivational Interviewing during telephonic outreach to help patients achieve and sustain medication adherence.
Clinical Data Management: Coordinate the collection of patient-specific clinical data required to support therapy protocols and regulatory program requirements.
Compliance & Safety: Maintain a deep understanding of specific service line requirements. Identify stakeholder needs, risks, and safety concerns, ensuring timely reporting and escalation.
Continuity of Care: Follow up with physicians, patients, and caregivers to promote compliance and persistency according to program protocols.
Issue Resolution: Consult with patients and caregivers to develop action plans and independently resolve complex issues.
Professional Standards: Identify and report Adverse Events (AEs) and Product Complaints (PCs) promptly while maintaining your professional licensure.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education & Licensure
Required: Vocational or technical training.
Required: Active, current, and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure (must be maintained throughout employment).
Experience
2+ years of experience working within a healthcare company, physician's office, or laboratory environment.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Clinical Communication: Ability to speak effectively, professionally, and clearly with patients, caregivers, and internal/external stakeholders.
Technical Savvy: Strong computer skills, including data entry, proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, and the ability to navigate multiple online platforms synchronously.
Attention to Detail: High accuracy in data collection and clinical note documentation.
Adaptability: A pro-active self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving healthcare environment and is excited about changes that positively impact patient outcomes.
Core Competencies: Strong command of medical terminology, basic arithmetic, and the ability to read and interpret complex safety rules and procedure manuals.
