As a Client Partner, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of client engagements, from initial opportunity identification to project delivery oversight. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Sales & Business Development: Develop and manage a robust pipeline of opportunities. Originate, sell, and close new consulting and integration project deals, aligning with C-level client needs. Your annual new business signings will range from $5 million to $20 million.
- Solutioning & Expertise: Act as a subject matter expert and thought leader in your designated domain (e.g., AI, Cloud, Business Transformation, Application/Data Modernization). Develop compelling proposals and respond to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), designing and solutioning complex digital transformation projects.
- Delivery & Oversight: Partner effectively with both customers and internal stakeholders. Oversee the successful delivery of the projects you originate and sell, ensuring client satisfaction and desired outcomes.
- Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong, executive-level relationships with key client and internal stakeholders.
- Team Leadership: Lead multi-disciplinary teams on complex consulting engagements, providing guidance and mentorship.
- Strategic Growth: Identify "land and expand" opportunities, leveraging initial consulting engagements to drive larger transformational programs.

We are looking for highly experienced digital consulting professionals with a recent and proven track record, typically from leading global consulting firms.
Requirements (Must-Haves)
- Documented Sales Success: Demonstrated ability to drive $5 million to $20 million in annual consulting sales, with a proven track record of contributions to wins over the past five years (including details on contract value, annual revenue yield, and sold margin).
- Extensive Consulting Experience: At least 10 years of consulting sales experience with a recent and proven track record in technology consulting from a global consulting firm (preferably "Big 4" or other major consulting agencies).
- Deep Domain Knowledge: Expertise in one or two of the following areas:
- Business Transformation
- IT Transformation
- Cloud / Hyperscalers
- Application Modernization
- Data Modernization
- AI and Generative AI
- Strong Executive Network: Possess strong, existing C-level and Executive-level relationships within a target industry and geographical market, with the ability to document companies where these relationships exist.
- End-to-End Project Experience: Established history combining consulting, implementation, and managed services, sold and successfully delivered.
- Client Communication & Problem Solving: Proven ability to communicate at all levels of an organization, create solutions to complex business problems, and present content that resonates with both business and IT stakeholders to drive transformation and growth.
- Deal Shaping: Demonstrated ability to shape large, complex, multi-competency deals across various technology practices (e.g., Cloud, Core Enterprise & zCloud, Network and Edge, Applications, Data & AI, Security & Resilience, Digital Workplace Services) and alliance partners.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business, economics, engineering, or computer science.
- Experience with Statement of Work (SOW) / contract development, iteration, refinement, negotiation, and deal closure.
- Development of business cases with return-on-investment analysis.
- Hands-on experience working with leading cloud platform providers (AWS, Azure, and GCP) across large optimization, migration, and modernization solutions. Familiarity with their methods/ways to partner and their cloud capabilities.
- Experience leveraging Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), AI/ML, and agentic AI, or employer assets that enable the jumpstarting of artificial intelligence transformation implementation programs.
- Understanding and articulation of the vision for modern software engineering (e.g., agile, cloud-native, DevOps) and operations, and ability to articulate a path toward a target operating model (people, process, and tools/technology).
- Master's degree in a similar field or MBA.
