We are seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Information Management Specialist to support document management and records migration activities across Global Innovation (GI) Development sites. This contractor role will serve as a subject matter expert for electronic document management systems, including Veeva, Documentum, and SharePoint, with a focus on supporting users, configuring workflows, and migrating records from legacy systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of regulated environments (21 CFR Part 11, GLP, GMP), excellent attention to detail, and experience working in pharmaceutical or biological development settings.

responsibilities:
- Serve as the first-line support for users of electronic document management systems (EDMS), including controlled documents and regulatory submissions.
- Configure document templates and workflows for site users.
- Provide routine and ad hoc user support across GI Development teams.
- Execute document migration projects from legacy systems to approved platforms.
- Ensure accurate documentation practices in accordance with internal SOPs and external regulations.
- Manage multiple tasks and priorities with minimal oversight.
qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with at least 2 years of relevant experience, OR
- Associate degree with 2+ years of experience, OR
- 4 years of direct relevant experience without a degree.
- Prior experience working in a regulated lab, pharmaceutical, or biotech environment.
- Demonstrated understanding of document control processes and compliance (e.g., 21 CFR Part 11, GLP, GMP).

- Proficiency in electronic document management platforms: Veeva, Documentum, MS Teams, MS SharePoint.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise, regulated procedures.
- Familiarity with compliance standards: 21 CFR Part 11, GLP (FDA/EPA), GMP (FDA/EU), and VICH guidelines.
- Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities efficiently.
