- Virtual meeting and webinar support
- Quick response to emergency / ad-hoc requests
- Carry out regular preventative room checks and updates, ensuring all equipment functions correctly
- Ensure that all faults are reported in correct and timely manner
- To cover functions in AV spaces and be confident in your ability to monitor a sound mixing desk and video recording and various other equipment for high profile meetings
- Attend and work with different departments such as Events, Reception, and Facilities to gather details for events or projects
- Attend and contribute to departmental team meetings

Key Responsibilities
Technical Operations
- Operate, maintain, and provide ongoing support for sophisticated audio-visual equipment and systems
- Deliver seamless virtual meeting and webinar technical support to ensure professional presentations
- Respond quickly and effectively to emergency requests and ad-hoc technical needs
- Conduct regular preventative maintenance checks and system updates to guarantee optimal equipment performance
- Monitor and operate sound mixing desks, video recording equipment, and various multimedia technologies during high-profile meetings and events
- Ensure all equipment malfunctions and technical issues are documented and reported through proper channels in a timely manner
- Maintain detailed logs of equipment status, maintenance activities, and system performance
- Proactively identify potential issues before they impact operations
- Work closely with Events, Reception, and Facilities teams to gather event requirements and project specifications
- Provide technical consultation and recommendations for upcoming events and initiatives
- Participate actively in departmental team meetings and contribute to process improvements
- Serve as the primary technical liaison for cross-departmental AV needs
Technical Skills
- Proven experience with professional audio-visual equipment operation and maintenance
- Proficiency in sound mixing console operation and audio engineering principles
- Experience with video recording, streaming, and broadcast technologies
- Knowledge of virtual meeting platforms and webinar hosting solutions
- Understanding of preventative maintenance procedures for AV equipment
- Strong problem-solving abilities with capacity for quick thinking under pressure
- Excellent communication skills for working with diverse teams and stakeholders
- Ability to work independently while maintaining high attention to detail
- Flexibility to respond to emergency situations and changing priorities
- Professional demeanor suitable for supporting high-profile meetings and events
- Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on experience in audio-visual technical support
- Demonstrated experience supporting corporate meetings, events, or similar professional environments
- Background in equipment troubleshooting and technical problem resolution
- Experience working in collaborative, multi-departmental environments
- Relevant technical certifications in audio-visual systems
- Experience with live event production or broadcast operations
- Familiarity with facility management systems and procedures
