We are seeking a Software Engineer for their Marketing Technology Team within Consumer Technology. The Software Engineer will specifically be working with the Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) product and be performing AEM development tasks as part of an Agile delivery team. You will be responsible for developing personalized digital experiences using Adobe technologies like AEM Sites, AEM Assets. The AEM project will involve multiple system integrations, component, fragment and template development. In addition, the candidate will be expected to partner with Marketing teams and technology teams to successfully roll out new enhancements impacting content delivery, personalization and optimization.
In this role, you will:
- Participate in low to moderately complex initiatives and projects associated with the technology domain, including installation, upgrades, and deployment efforts
- Identify opportunities for service quality and availability improvements within the technology domain environment
- Design, code, test, debug, and document for low to moderately complex projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
- Review and analyze technical assignments or challenges that are related to low to medium risk deliverables and that require research, evaluation, and selection of alternative technology domains
- Present recommendations for resolving issues or may escalate issues as needed to meet established service level agreements
- Exercise some independent judgment while also developing understanding of given technology domain in reference to security and compliance requirements
- Provide information to technology colleagues, internal partners, and stakeholders
- 2+ years of software engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 2+ years of experience implementing Adobe AEM
- 2+ years of Java development experience
- Proficient in Adobe AEM foundational concepts such as OSGI, Apache Sling, Apache Felix, templates, components, dialogs, widgets, etc., and the Adobe AEM development and deployment process.
- Good understanding of Adobe AEM WCM capabilities including MSM and Blueprinting, along with advanced targeting / personalization, and multi-variate testing.
- Experience in AEM content fragment and experience fragment
- Configure AEM settings, permissions, tags and workflows
- Experience working with RESTful, microservice
- Experience working with JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, JSON, HTML5, CSS3 and related technologies is a plus
- Experience in implementing DTM and Adobe Launch.
