We have a 9 month contract opportunity for a Project Manager. This role is fully remote but must work CST business hours.
MUST HAVE: Healthcare background and an understanding of how EHR systems tie into Ancillary applications. HR systems (peoplesoft, kronos, etc) experience and understanding of HR terminology.
Plan, direct, or coordinate activities in fields such as information systems, systems analysis, and computer programming, with a strong emphasis on hands-on project management expertise. This role supports healthcare IT initiatives, including application and operating system upgrades, and requires adaptability across various platforms and tools

responsibilities:
Responsibilities include:
- Leading and coordinating IT projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and timelines
- Reviewing project plans and coordinating project activities using ServiceNow Project Management Module
- Creating project management deliverables including test plan, work breakdowns, resource assignments, activation plans, etc.
- Operating smaller budget projects independently and efficiently
- Consulting with users, management, vendors, and technicians
- Resolving issues in collaboration with stakeholders
- Participating in fast-paced application and OS upgrade initiatives, often tied to healthcare IT systems (e.g., EHRs)
- Collaborating across departments to ensure project success and stakeholder satisfaction
qualifications:
- 5-7 years of hands-on project management experience (not just certification-based and not just implementation management)
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and ability to apply them in real-world scenarios
- Strong PMI-based project management skills
- Experience with ServiceNow Project Management tools
- Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Charts, etc.);Microsoft Office is not used
- Familiarity with enterprise systems such as PeopleSoft or similar platforms
- Experience managing HR-related IT projects
- Excellent verbal and written communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and adapt to changing priorities
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware/software and production processes
- Understanding of business and management principles related to planning and resource allocation
- Experience in healthcare IT environments is required
skills: Preferred Qualifications:
- PMI or PMP certification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field
