responsibilities:
- Provide functional support for SAP financial modules, including FICO, Accounts Payable, inventory, fixed assets, and general ledger.
- Perform manual QA testing in SAP environments; create and maintain test cases and document results using Excel or Word.
- Troubleshoot production issues and ensure data accuracy and integrity across financial transactions and reporting.
- Collaborate with Finance, Procurement, and IT teams to gather business requirements, test enhancements, and support deployments.
- Oversee processes involving purchase orders, vendor contracts, goods receipts, invoice validation, and asset transactions.
- Reconcile financial data and conduct root cause analysis of discrepancies such as payment reclassifications and pricing variances.
- Contribute to automation and testing efforts tied to GHG reporting, inventory transfers, and EDI vendor onboarding.
- Support integration and data validation for new systems, including Retail, Payroll, and B2B purchasing platforms.
qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree (preferably in Business, Accounting, IT, or a related field) or equivalent work experience.
- 7+ years of experience in a business or systems analyst role, with a strong foundation in finance or accounting.
- 3-4+ years of manual QA testing experience within SAP environments, including test plan development and documentation.
- Solid understanding of systems integration concepts and practices.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel and Word.
