Key Responsibilities
- Develop, program, and optimize manufacturing processes for batch manufacturing in complex 5-axis and lathe CNC environments.
- Utilize CATIA CAM and other CAD/CAM software to create and refine manufacturing methods for aerospace components.
- Simulate manufacturing programs using tools like Vericut to minimize machine downtime, increase efficiency, and proactively reduce scrap.
- Collaborate closely with Quality, Production, and Design teams to ensure the smooth execution of new product introductions.
- Manage engineering systems software releases and provide ongoing technical support to production teams.
- Leverage data analytics to drive process decisions and champion continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support the training of operators on new processes and provide clear, comprehensive documentation.

Requirements (Must-Haves):
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent professional work experience.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience developing and deploying automation scripts using languages such as C, Visual Studio, Java, or Eclipse.
- Proven experience programming in a manufacturing environment, particularly with 5-axis and lathe CNC machines.
- Strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles and their application in manufacturing and inspection.
- Proficiency with Azure, Git, and SQL/database management.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Direct experience with CATIA CAM, especially for aerospace components.
- Experience with other CAD/CAM software (e.g., Unigraphics NX) and simulation tools (e.g., Vericut).
- A background in lean manufacturing, process optimization, or continuous improvement methodologies.
- Familiarity with PLM systems and Industry 4.0 technologies (machine connectivity, automation platforms).
