The role involves creating robust frameworks based on various analyses and research, including customer segmentation, competitive assessments, underwriting models, and historical performance data. This individual will draw strategic insights from data using a range of advanced analytical tools.

responsibilities:
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Utilize analytical tools (e.g., SAS, SQL, MATLAB, Python, and R) and data query languages to build, test, and maintain robust data analysis and reporting, enabling management to make timely, informed decisions.
- Strategy Development: Design, recommend, document, and execute consumer underwriting, product, channel, and customer experience strategies to improve the lending portfolio's performance.
- Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with other leaders to define business priorities, align resources, and communicate progress to senior management.
qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree (Graduate degree is a plus) in a quantitative discipline such as Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Data Analytics, or Computer Science.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a data-driven analytics environment, with experience in consumer lending or financial services being a plus. A Master's or PhD degree may be considered in lieu of some experience.
skills: Advanced analytical skills using tools such as SQL, SAS, and Excel are required. Experience with multiple relational databases and/or querying languages like R, Hive, Python, Oracle, and Unix is a plus.
