Typical Day in the Role
- The individual is to work with application teams on identifying proper traffic management solutions to fit their needs, to keep a close eye on infrastructure performance and make recommendations and/or designs for improving the platform. Conduct healthchecks and take prompt action to tend to security related events (vulnerabilities). Also as part of the team the individual will assist with other network technologies (routing, switching, remote-access, site-to-site VPN, wireless, etc).
- The individual will produce comparable work to other Sr. Network engineers, working with internal/external consumers of network services and identify requirements, then build solutions to match.
- This role is unique in the sense that it provides a significant exposure to a critical component of enterprise networks which is traffic management, not just load balancing but handling certificate management, Web Application Firewall capabilities as well.

Candidate Requirements
- Required: Bachelor's college degree Preferred: + CCNP certification
- Years of experience required: Minimum 5-7 years networking experience
- Disqualifiers: Resides outside continental US (no territories)
- Additional qualities to look for: Good customer facing interface.
