This person's primary role will be to perform the responsibilities of a developer in an engineering team that supports the Legal Business Team. Developers in this team will collaborate closely with the Legal business stakeholders to understand their use cases, clearly articulate business benefits, design internal solutions or onboard external products that can deliver those benefits, implement, and operationalize them.

responsibilities:
- Partner with Legal, IT, and business teams to ensure smooth implementation.
- Conduct vendor evaluation, negotiation, and ongoing relationship management.
- Build and deploy custom AI-driven solutions using Large Language Models (LLMs) and intelligent agents.
- Integrate AI capabilities into existing and new legal tech tools.
- Apply Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) techniques for enhanced legal data insights.
- Develop and maintain serverless, cloud-native applications leveraging AWS Lambda, S3, API Gateway, and Step Functions.
- Build backend services in Python or Java; implement responsive UI using modern frameworks.
- Connect Streamlit apps to Bedrock and SageMaker for AI model interaction.
- Configure SSO/MFA for secure application access.
- Work with SailPoint to set up IAM roles and access profiles.
- Integrate with Workday and Active Directory for user provisioning and authentication.
- Manage secure SFTP connections for data exchange.
- Act as technical lead for legal technology initiatives.
- Coordinate with geographically distributed consultants and internal teams.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting during implementation and production.
qualifications:
- 5+ years experience in Full Stack Development.
- Strong AI/ML background, with hands-on experience in LLMs, intelligent agents, and RAG-based solutions.
- Proven track record in product onboarding and vendor management in legal tech or AI domains.
- Proficiency in AWS services (Lambda, Bedrock, SageMaker, S3, API Gateway).
- Strong programming skills in Python and/or Java.
- Experience with serverless architecture and secure application deployment.
- Familiarity with SailPoint IAM, SSO/MFA, Workday, and Active Directory integrations.
- Experience with secure SFTP setup and data feeds.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to work independently.
skills:
- Prior experience with Mitratech TeamConnect or other legal tech products.
- Background in enterprise AI governance and compliance.
- Familiarity with Streamlit application hosting.
