responsibilities:
· Installation, configuration, and maintenance of voice communication systems and equipment.
· Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to voice networks and phone systems.
· Performing regular system updates, upgrades, and patches.
· Collaborating with other IT teams to integrate voice systems with existing infrastructure.
· Conducting system audits and ensuring compliance with security and regulatory standards.
· Providing technical support and assistance to end-users for voice-related problems.
· Managing user accounts, permissions, and access control for voice systems.
· Monitoring and analyzing voice network performance to identify and address potential issues.
· Documenting system configurations, changes, and support procedures.
· On-call Responsibility: The network administrator will be required to participate in an on-call rotation to provide after-hours support for urgent network issues. They will respond promptly to critical incidents, triage and troubleshoot problems remotely or on-site, and escalate as necessary to maintain network uptime and customer satisfaction.

· Knowledge of telephony protocols, such as SIP, H.323, and RTP.
· Familiarity with voice hardware and equipment, including IP phones, gateways, and routers.
· Understanding of network protocols and technologies related to voice, such as VLANs and QoS.
· Strong problem-solving skills and ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
· Excellent communication skills to provide effective support and collaborate with team members.
· Knowledge of security measures and best practices for voice systems.
· Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
· Attention to detail and ability to document processes and procedures accurately.
