responsibilities:




Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and reports using Tableau and Power BI to support cybersecurity metrics and executive reporting.

- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and visual storytelling.

- Validate data accuracy by comparing report outputs with source systems and databases.

- Collaborate with data analysts, engineers, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment on data definitions and logic.

- Conduct regression and functional testing on dashboards during release cycles to ensure seamless data presentation.

- Optimize dashboard performance and user experience through effective use of filters, parameters, and drill-downs.

- Document test cases, data validation procedures, and dashboard logic for QA, audit and knowledge transfer purposes.

- Support the transition of legacy Tableau dashboards to Power BI, ensuring consistency and integrity across platforms.

- Participate in peer reviews and mentor junior team members on BI best practices.







 
qualifications:
Required Qualifications: 4+ years of Information Security Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.

 
skills: - 4+ years of experience in business intelligence development using Tableau and Power BI.

- Robust SQL skills for data extraction, transformation, and validation.

- Experience with ETL processes and data modeling.

- Familiarity with cybersecurity metrics and reporting is a plus.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

- Financial services experience specifically big banks.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with Python or other scripting languages for automation.

- Knowledge of SSRS, SSIS, or other Microsoft BI tools.

- Exposure to Agile development methodologies.

- Understanding of data governance and compliance requirements in a regulated environment.
