Our Chicago Client has an opportunity for a contract Sr Program Manager to join their team. This is an expansion of product development teams to support a growing and dynamic roadmap. Ideal candidates will be able to work onsite downtown four days a week.

responsibilities:
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies: Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
- Coach and mentor teams on Agile practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with Product Owners to ensure clear backlog prioritization and refinement.
- Identify and remove impediments to team progress, escalating issues as necessary.
- Monitor and report on team performance metrics, providing insights to leadership.
- Coordinate cross-team dependencies and manage risks to ensure seamless delivery.
- Monthly Financials.
- Weekly & Monthly leadership status reports.
qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Coach, or Program Manager in an Agile environment.
- Strong facilitation skills for Scrum ceremonies and cross-team coordination.
- Expertise in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Lean) and frameworks.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and stakeholder satisfaction.
- Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and stakeholder management skills.
- Certifications such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or SAFe Agilist.
- Experience with Agile scaling frameworks like SAFe, Kanban.
- Familiarity with tools like Azure DevOps.
- Background in product management or software development.
