Under minimal direction of the assignment supervisor and subject matter experts, this assignment is responsible for developing and executing manual functional tests for new or modified applications/systems in collaboration with other cross functional team members. To ensure the successful delivery of the ELMS Ascend project, Citizens Property Insurance has a contingent need for a dedicated Front-End QA Analyst. This project involves extensive front-end development, with multiple developers from both the Guidewire and Litify teams actively delivering enhancements. The integration between Guidewire ClaimCenter and the Litify application is complex and requires thorough validation to ensure functionality, performance, and a seamless user experience.
Responsibilities
- Conduct end-to-end QA testing of the integration between Guidewire and Litify platforms.
- Validate system workflows across both platforms.
- Develop, execute, and maintain test cases for API integrations, data sync, and business logic validation.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and integration teams to understand requirements and identify edge cases.
- Perform regression, functional, and system integration testing to ensure platform stability post-integration as applicable
- Log, track, and verify defects to ensure timely resolution and retesting.
- Ensure compliance with business requirements, security standards, and quality benchmarks throughout the integration lifecycle.
- Prepare detailed test documentation including test plans, test cases, and test summary reports.
Prepare clear and concise test documentation, including traceability matrices, defect logs, and QA sign-off reports. - Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and provide technical assistance to business users testing cross-system workflows.
- Identify and recommend QA process improvements, including automation opportunities and better test data management practices.
Insurance Domain (Guidewire-specific)
- Understanding of Guidewire modules (e.g., ClaimCenter, PolicyCenter, BillingCenter).
- Knowledge of insurance claims lifecycle and related business processes.
- Familiarity with property & casualty (P&C) insurance operations and terminology.
- Experience testing insurance workflows
- Familiarity with Litify platform, built on Salesforce - including legal case management, intake, and matter workflows.
- Experience testing custom Salesforce applications and integrations.
- Understanding of API testing, especially RESTful APIs between enterprise platforms.
- Experience with data mapping, transformation, and ETL processes.
- Knowledge of asynchronous/synchronous data flows, event-driven architecture, and integration patterns.
- Experience with Salesforce platform QA (e.g., testing Lightning components, flows, process builder).
- Strong SQL/database skills for backend data validation.
- Familiarity with automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, Postman, ReadyAPI).
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
4 or more years of experience in enterprise-level software testing with web-based applications in a large-scale, relational database environment, to include 2 or more years' experience in implementing and using a variety of quality assurance methodologies.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities or Education here:
