Required Skills: Purely technical Systems Analyst (not a BA). They will be aligned to developers, and they will be on the development team. Prior experience as a Developer, QA or Support Engineer would be helpful
1) Agile & Jira expert - must be able to write Agile stories.
2) Not a developer, but must be able to do technical analysis (if you put a picture of a new web page - they need to be able to ask the right questions about where everything is coming from). From there, they need to be able to translate that to stories.
3) Need someone technical who can write SQL queries, do some analysis on API's (which data is supposed to be passed back and forth - and document with the team - data mapping from front to back).
4) Should have experience with fairly complex UI's (ex. Complex business rules - i.e. what type of customer is it? What kind of rules are there for each user? How does it integrate with other Fidelity systems?)
5) Strong problem-solving skills.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring:
- 10+ years of total engineering experience with a minimum of 5 years in the role of a Systems Analyst
- Analysis experience with complex enterprise-level, end-to-end processes in a Web application environment
- Experience with REST, SOAP API technologies and related tools such as Postman and Insomnia
- Proficiency with JSON, Java, SQL and log analysis (Splunk, Datadog)
- Experience with code analysis, repositories, and deployment strategies
- Expertise understanding the technology and architecture of an application as well as the business problems, requirements and solutions
- Strong written and verbal communication skills: communicates clearly, concisely, and impactfully to influence others tailoring the information to the audience
- Proficiency in drawing out information from Business or Technical partners
- Experience with solution design of new systems and the enhancement and modernization of legacy systems
- Expertise in story writing, testing, creation of diagrams and product documentation
- Ability to take complex features and break them into bodies of work, then break them down further into stories with well-defined business value and acceptance criteria
- A highly curious and motivated learner with strong problem-solving skills
- Takes initiative, finds solutions and follows through with minimal direction
- Ability to navigate through ambiguous circumstances and demonstrate flexibility and adaptability

- Ability to triage system defects in production and non-production environments
- Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Business, Finance, Information Technology, or Management Information Systems
- Prior experience as a Developer, QA or Support Engineer is a plus
- Experience within the financial services industry is a plus
- Cloud experience, particularly AWS, is a plus
