responsibilities:
- 8+ years in technology roles with a bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
- 5+ years building advanced CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins) and supporting distributed systems at scale.
- 1-2 years in AWS cloud development and migration; experience with resilient cloud platforms.
- 2-4 years in software development (Python, NodeJS, or Java) with emphasis on SDLC and automation.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
- Strong Linux/Unix systems administration skills, including Bash scripting.
- Familiarity with distributed, highly concurrent service-based architectures.
qualifications:
Proficiency in automation using Python, Bash, and Shell scripting.
Expertise in CI/CD pipelines, configuration management, and test automation (Jenkins, Ansible, Docker).
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, AWS CloudFormation).
Solid understanding of Linux/Unix internals, system performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
Strong understanding of AWS and DevOps concepts.
Knowledge of observability tools (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/OpenSearch, OpenTelemetry).
Ability to maintain scalability, resiliency, and implement advanced observability practices.
Skilled in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and incident management under pressure.
Effective communicator with ability to engage technical and non-technical audiences.
Collaborative mindset with a passion for learning and sharing procedures.
