job summary:
HAM analyst responsible for End User Compute assets in the Asset Management tool

Review/Evaluate new features and functionality for all future upgrades related to Asset Management tool

Outside the box thinking strategy on HAM improvements and/or automations ideas

Perform overall Governance throughout the Lifecycle of an asset

Consistently and proactively review and audit inventory including Hardware Models

Ensure automation exists for activities such as deploy, swap, or retire

Manage Hardware Lifecycle

Manage hardware Warranty/Support Renewals as well as Leases

Recommend upgrade, replacement, refresh, and retirement strategy for the client assets

Perform hardware discovery, where applicable, to actively poll network connected devices and collect hardware configuration data

Assist in the client Operational Team Processes in identifying and recovering underutilized or unassigned assets

Identify and prepare list of assets for disposal including asset location

Assist Operations Team with management of Legal Hold lifecycle

Conduct assessment of asset life expectancy with identification of list of assets eligible for upgrade / replacement / refresh / retirement and provide associated report (for example, end of life or unsupported assets)

Prepare asset decommissioning / disposal report and establish retention repository for audit purposes

Provide updates to the client's Key Stakeholders, per the ITAM governance process

Participate in weekly, monthly, and quarterly asset management and EUC operations meetings as needed

Generate/Automate metrics reporting, analyze findings, and provide recommendations on how to improve in scope services.
