We are seeking an Implementation Specialist to join a leading health technology solutions provider. In this role, you will be the boots-on-the-ground expert responsible for deploying, maintaining, and troubleshooting critical medical devices and IT networking platforms.

responsibilities:
- Field Implementation: Perform daily travel to various customer sites to deploy, configure, and service medical devices and IT/Networking platforms.
- System Maintenance: Complete all scheduled maintenance and incoming acceptance inspections in accordance with manufacturer and local guidelines.
- Network Deployment: Support the rollout of wireless networks, LAN implementations, and Voice over IP (VoIP) telephony migrations.
- Technical Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair general medical equipment and IT systems, ensuring high uptime for clinical staff.
- Project Collaboration: Work closely with project management to define key tasks, allocate resources, and execute technology upgrades in a timely manner.
- Documentation: Maintain real-time records of all repair and maintenance activities using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and PCNS toolsets.
- Client Relations: Conduct regular rounds at assigned facilities to identify equipment issues proactively and foster strong professional relationships with onsite staff.
qualifications:
- High School Diploma and 3-4 years of relevant experience in electronics, mechanics, IT, or the healthcare industry an Associate Degree.
- Driving Requirement: Valid drivers license.
- Ability to travel up to 90% weekly is a requirement for this role.
- Your travel will cover a territory approximately a 4-hour radius from the Chicago and Central Illinois areas, including cities such as Madison, WI, Cedar Rapids, IA, Indianapolis, IN, and St. Louis, MO. The company will provide a credit card for all travel-related expenses, including rental car, hotels, and meals.
