Technical Delivery Leadership and Governance (70%)
Provide strategic leadership and governance for the successful execution of technical solutions, ensuring alignment with client requirements and industry best practices.
Oversee end-to-end solution delivery from a technical governance perspective, ensuring high-quality deliverables without direct hands-on execution.
Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing strategic guidance on technology decisions, solution architectures, and industry best practices to drive successful outcomes.
Screen and assess senior technical candidates (e.g., architects, leads, principal engineers) for project alignment, providing clear evaluation and feedback.
Direct and mentor offshore and junior team members who support candidate screening, ensuring consistent technical evaluation standards.
Provide thought leadership on:
Data Governance and Master Data Management (MDM): Advising on best practices, influencing governance frameworks, and guiding organizations in establishing robust data management strategies.
Data Engineering solutions: Designing innovative data architectures, optimizing data pipelines, and ensuring seamless integration of modern data technologies to drive business value.
AI-driven data solutions: Shaping innovative data-centric AI strategies, identifying best-fit AI technologies, and guiding clients on scalable AI adoption for business impact.
Guide and mentor project teams, ensuring adherence to best practices, architecture principles, and internal technical governance on all data project deliveries.
Practice Development (20%)
Contribute to the continuous improvement and growth of the technical practice within the organization.
Develop and implement best practices, methodologies, and frameworks to enhance delivery efficiency and effectiveness.
Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
Participate in thought leadership activities, including conferences, webinars, and whitepapers.
Solution Development (10%)
Support the creation and refinement of reusable solutions, accelerators, and frameworks that enhance the organization's service offerings.
Contribute to the development of new service capabilities based on market trends and client needs.
Collaborate with sales and pre-sales teams to shape solution approaches and strategies.
Willingness to travel up to 25% for client engagements, conferences, and internal leadership meetings.
At least 10 years of experience as a data professional with increasing responsibilities.
Strong expertise in data engineering, analytics, and BI.
Experience working across all data domains, including legacy and cloud data solutions.
Previous experience as a data engineer and/or architect in past roles.
Deep understanding and oversight experience with on-prem platforms and at least one of Azure, Databricks, Snowflake, or GCP.
Demonstrated ability to lead complex technical engagements and drive successful outcomes.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Proven experience in mentoring and developing technical teams.
Strong knowledge of Data Governance and Master Data Management (MDM) principles, with the ability to provide strategic thought leadership on governance-related engagements.
Expertise in data solutions, with a focus on developing solution concepts and strategic approaches for AI implementations that involve data.
Ability to balance strategic governance with technical oversight, ensuring high-quality solution delivery for clients.
Prior consulting and client delivery leadership experience in professional services environment (ie large consulting firm)
