job summary:
We are looking for a specialist who can create precise component models using ECAD systems. Specifically, this role requires strong expertise in Mentor Xpedition EDM to ensure all models and symbols align with our rigorous company standards and practices.

responsibilities:
- Create CAD symbols and models for printed circuit cards and schematic designs, ensuring accurate representation of electrical schematic symbols and PCB layout component models.

- Load and manage appropriate attribute data within various enterprise systems.

- Interpret and analyze component drawings and specifications to produce high-quality symbols and models.

- Conduct thorough self-checks of work to meet part requirements and guidelines.

- Collaborate with team members to build relationships, resolve issues, and identify any missing data necessary for project completion.

- Utilize reference documents effectively to inform decision-making processes.

 
qualifications:
- Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science).

- Prior experience in a similar role or industry may be advantageous.

- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively.

- Strong focus on accuracy and detail-oriented work.

- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.

- Familiarity with other design or engineering software tools may be beneficial.
