job summary:
We are seeking a seasoned Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a strong, self-starter who drives value and success by designing, developing, and maintaining scalable test automation frameworks for both software and hardware applications. This role requires a blend of development and quality assurance expertise, working within an Agile/Scrum or SAFe environment to ensure high-quality product delivery.
Key Responsibilities (Job Duties)
Design, set up, and maintain robust test automation frameworks across multiple application platforms (web, mobile, API, and hardware).
Develop, execute, and manage comprehensive automated test cases by understanding code flow and how it interacts with different components.
Collaborate with cross-functional Scrum Teams and deployment teams to ensure ultimate product functionality and value.
Work closely with product design to offer inputs on the testability of functional elements and product designs.
Investigate internal and external problems, testing bugs, and creating and managing detailed bug reports.
Research new test tools, methodologies, and trends, and recommend upgrades to existing practices and processes.
