As a Project Environmental Compliance Lead, you will play a critical role in the delivery of large-scale infrastructure projects. You will be responsible for ensuring that all construction activities comply with environmental permits and regulations from the earliest stages of development through to operational handover. This is a field-heavy role requiring a hands-on approach to environmental stewardship and stakeholder management.

responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain environmental permits throughout the construction lifecycle.
- Conduct regular onsite field inspections to ensure compliance with Clean Water Act requirements.
- Oversee third-party consultants performing ecological surveys and site reporting.
- Coordinate with construction and design teams to mitigate risks related to stormwater, wetlands, and air quality.
- Prepare and submit essential regulatory reports to local and state authorities.
qualifications:
5+ years of experience in environmental permitting and compliance within the United States.
5+ years of project management experience, specifically driving deliverables and managing consultants.
Specialized knowledge of CWA 404/401/402, stormwater general permits, and RCRA.
Experience working on mission-critical facilities or massive-scale construction sites.
Proven ability to interpret construction schedules and identify potential compliance risks.
