This isn't just a maintenance job; this is a front-line operational role in the rapidly evolving Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) industry. Work directly with UAS technology and automated "Nest" infrastructure. Get your 10k steps in, work outdoors, and stay sharp with pre-flight inspections and crew briefs.
Various shifts are available, but hours are expected to be between 8:00am-8:00pm with a max of 40 hours a week. Hours are dependent upon business needs, personal preference, and may vary between a traditional 8 hours, 5 days a week or even 12, 12, 12, 4.
Travel Required:
- Travel between nests with monthly mileage reimbursement @ .725 per mile
- Must be available for classroom training in Dallas the week of 3/2

responsibilities:
- Perform aircraft inspections (including pre-flight and post-flight inspections), daily start of day and end of day activities
- Perform routine aircraft standard practices (as defined in Client UAS Maintenance Manual)
- Perform nest equipment inspections (including pre-flight and post-flight inspections), daily start of day and end of day activities
- Replace drone equipment as required
- Participate in Crew Briefs
- Maintain communications with the client Pilot-in-Command
qualifications:
- FAA Part 107 Commercial Drone Pilot License
- Experience flying drones
- Lift from ground level and carry up to 35 lbs and carry multiple items at the same time
- Crouch down and pick up or place objects from/to the ground weighing up to twenty (20) pounds
- Push or pull a wheeled cart on level ground weighing up to two hundred (200) pounds
- Be on feet constantly walking (10k+ steps per day)
- Work outside in various weather conditions (light rain, wind, temperatures ranging from 23F to 110F)
- Maintain mental and visual alertness
