qualifications:
Program & Delivery Management
Run the established AIRD program operating cadence, including weekly, biweekly, monthly, and quarterly rhythms aligned to department planning and reporting cycles.
Maintain clear visibility into milestones, dependencies, risks, and readiness across engineering, architecture, SI, and shared service workstreams.
Ensure continuity and momentum as program ownership transitions from consulting support to internal leadership.
Use sound judgment to resolve issues independently where appropriate and escalate when leadership input is needed.
Stakeholder & Executive Engagement
Facilitate large, senior, and sometimes complex meetings, maintaining structure and forward momentum while driving discussions toward decisions and outcomes.
Serve as the primary program point of contact for:
Department leadership
SI partners
Shared service organizations contributing to delivery
Partner with senior leaders across the enterprise to identify and coordinate the appropriate SI and shared service counterparts.
Communicate clearly and confidently in executive forums, tailoring message depth and framing to the audience.
Planning, Tracking & Tooling
Own program level planning, tracking, and traceability using Jira and supporting tools.
Ensure alignment between enterprise roadmaps, capability milestones, and engineering or architecture epics.
Determine the appropriate level of tracking, documentation, and reporting needed to keep the program healthy and transparent.
Maintain clear documentation of decisions, risks, and dependencies in Confluence or equivalent tool
Executive Artifacts & Communication
Own preparation, review, and refinement of executive level program artifacts, including status updates, readouts, and decision materials.
Review and improve materials produced by others to ensure they are executive ready, well structured, and focused on priorities.
Build and maintain templates that keep the program organized, consistent, and adaptable as requirements evolve.
Adjust materials quickly in response to changing asks, priorities, or leadership feedback.
Qualifications
Technical & Domain Experience
Working knowledge of:
Data engineering concepts and common delivery patterns
Enterprise data or platform initiatives
Technology programs spanning multiple teams and dependencies
Comfortable partnering with architects, engineers, and platform leads to coordinate work and translate progress into clear program updates (without being hands on technical).
Program Management Expertise
Demonstrated experience managing complex, multi team, enterprise technology programs.
Familiarity with:
Agile delivery methodologies
Jira based planning and tracking
Cross vendor and cross organizational coordination
Experience taking over or stabilizing an existing program is robust preferred.
Communication & Operating Style
Clear, confident communicator with robust facilitation skills.
Highly organized, proactive, and dependable.
Good judgment around prioritization, documentation, and escalation.
Able to self manage day to day work while staying aligned with leadership expectations.
Comfortable operating in a visible role during periods of transition.
Level & Seniority Expectations
Target level: 4 (Senior Technical Project / Program Manager)
Not a developmental role - prior experience running complex, enterprise technology programs is required
Leadership support and guidance are provided during transition and onboarding
After an initial ramp up period (approximately one month), the individual is expected to run the program confidently with light touch guidance
Program Ownership & Transition Expectations
Take over day to day execution of the AIRD program, assuming responsibilities currently handled by a consulting partner and a departing internal team member.
Operate within existing program pillars, roadmap, and governance; this role is not responsible for redefining strategy or program structure.
Use leadership guidance during onboarding to build context and alignment, then operate with increasing autonomy as ownership transitions.
Success is measured by execution quality, clarity, follow through, and dependable delivery.
Working Model & Logistics
On site expectation: Tuesday through Thursday with the team
Remote work supported Monday and Friday
Role requires consistent engagement during core business hours due to leadership and partner interaction
What Will Differentiate robust Candidates
Prior experience supporting data, architecture, or platform programs (not limited to application delivery)
Experience transitioning work from consultants or covering for departing team members
Ability to bring structure, clarity, and calm execution to a complex, cross enterprise program
