This position is for a Cybersecurity Risk Reporting Analyst supporting a project to uplift the reporting space within GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) groups.
Role Summary
The analyst is responsible for the ongoing execution, maintenance, and data hygiene of cybersecurity metrics, including Key Risk Indicators (KRIs), Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and operational security performance measures. The role ensures that reporting across security domains is refreshed on schedule and delivered via high-quality dashboards to leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Metrics Execution: Execute recurring weekly, monthly, and quarterly security metric refresh processes.
Reporting & Dashboards: Maintain and validate dashboards in tools like Power BI or Tableau, ensuring visual consistency and accurate drill-down annotations.
Data Quality: Perform quality checks, variance analysis (month-over-month changes), and logic validation to ensure data integrity.
Metric Governance: Support change requests for metric definitions or thresholds and ensure they are approved by the governance group.
Stakeholder Coordination: Serve as a point of contact for internal partners to clarify metrics and assist in gather artifacts for audit support.
Requirements
Experience: 5+ years in reporting, analytics, operations, cybersecurity support, or IT risk/compliance.
Technical Skills: * Intermediate to Advanced Excel.
PowerPoint for creating executive-ready reporting packages.
Proficiency in at least one BI tool (Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik).
Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail to detect reporting anomalies and the ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
