As a Software Design Engineer in Test, you will be responsible for the health and quality of storage and file systems used by billions of people. Your work will involve triaging complex issues, debugging legacy infrastructure, and modernizing test platforms to ensure seamless product performance.

responsibilities:
Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and scripts.
Identify and document software defects, distinguishing between product and test-related bugs.
Modernize testing infrastructure by converting legacy scripts to current platforms.
Collaborate with development teams to resolve high-impact product issues.
Monitor quality dashboards and work to reduce noise in test reporting.
qualifications:
5+ years of experience in software testing and development.
Proficiency in C and C++ (minimum 3 years required).
Strong scripting skills using PowerShell.
Experience with test documentation, including plans, scripts, and results analysis.
Solid understanding of data structures.
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with storage systems or OS-level testing.
Experience with C#.
Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
