The Bluetooth Software/Firmware Design Engineer is a self-motivated engineer who designs, develops, and verifies wireless solutions for medical devices that communicate with mobile platforms and gateways. This role focuses on implementing the Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) stack on Nordic Semiconductor hardware using the Zephyr RTOS. You will define software design principles, write high-performance C/C++ code, and optimize the firmware for reliability, secure bonding, and ultra-low power consumption.
The engineer is expected to build high-quality software including requirements, architecture, and integration tests. Operating within a regulated medical workcell, you will ensure all Bluetooth functionality is fully compliant with IEC 62304 and FDA regulatory requirements.
