The Deployment Manager will be responsible for leading and managing deployment projects within our team. This role ensures that projects are properly staffed, field technicians are supported and trained, and deployment activities align with overall business goals.

responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of Deployment Coordinators.
- Develop and execute strategic deployment plans aligned with business goals.
- Forecast and secure field technician resources across regions.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners for project staffing.
- Monitor technician utilization, field metrics, and performance KPIs.
- Ensure timely and high-quality field execution.
- Drive process improvements and operational best practices.
- Provide executive reporting and insights on resource readiness and deployment activity.
- Ensures North American deployment projects are staffed with appropriate field technicians to execute the scope of work.
- Works with service partners directly to help manage the day-to-day activities of the technicians.
- Helps identify and work to train incoming resource to our methods and standards also can guide technicians to online training and our bootcamps to advance skill levels.
- Coordinate between internal and external teams to ensure the techs are properly trained and equipped.
- Can prepare detailed reports on field activity and report to senior leadership.
qualifications:
Ideal Candidate Profile
8+ years of telecom field operations or resource management experience.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Background in EF&I or field services within telecommunications.
Proficient in Excel, scheduling tools, and reporting dashboards (e.g., Power BI).
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
Comfortable working independently in a remote environment with occasional travel.
Education in Telecommunications, Engineering Technology, or related field (AAS/BS).
