Seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer with deep Selenium and Java experience to support enterprise application initiatives in a hybrid Austin environment. This role focuses on building and enhancing automation frameworks from scratch, integrating testing into CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring high-quality software delivery in an Agile setting. Ideal candidates bring 7+ years of hands-on automation experience and strong expertise in API testing, SQL validation, and scalable test design.

Job Responsibilities
- Analyze business and technical requirements
- Design and develop Selenium-based automation frameworks
- Build and maintain automated test scripts (Java preferred)
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and API testing
- Execute backend validation using SQL
- Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines
- Track defects and perform root cause analysis
- Participate in Agile ceremonies
- Independently own testing for assigned features or modules
qualifications:
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of QA / Automation testing experience
- 7+ years hands-on Selenium WebDriver experience
- Strong Java automation scripting (C# or Python acceptable)
- Experience building automation frameworks from scratch
- CI/CD integration experience (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar)
- API testing experience (Postman, RestAssured, etc.)
- Strong SQL skills for backend validation
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Must reside within 50 miles of Austin, TX and be available for hybrid onsite work (Mon & Thurs)
