Position Summary
We are seeking a hands-on RSA Archer GRC Engineer / Administrator to support enterprise Governance, Risk, and Compliance initiatives in a large, mission-critical environment.
This role focuses on configuring, implementing, and integrating RSA Archer applications supporting Assessment & Authorization (A&A), Controls Assurance, and Issues Management. The ideal candidate has deep platform configuration experience and holds an active Archer certification.
This is a fully onsite role in Austin, TX supporting enterprise security and compliance operations.

Job Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and maintain RSA Archer applications, including:
- Assessment & Authorization (A&A)
- Controls Assurance
- Issues Management
- Custom Archer solutions
- Translate business and compliance requirements into technical solution designs and configurations
- Configure workflows, forms, questionnaires, calculations, data relationships, and role-based access controls within Archer
- Develop and support REST API integrations between Archer and external enterprise systems (e.g., ITSM/CMDB platforms)
- Implement client-side customizations using JavaScript and jQuery
- Troubleshoot, optimize, and support production Archer environments
- Produce and maintain technical documentation, including configuration specs, testing results, and change records
- Follow established change management and governance processes
- Collaborate with Information Security, Risk, Compliance, and IT stakeholders to support enterprise GRC operations
qualifications:
- Must have active Archer Certified Professional (ACP) or Level 3 Archer Certified Administrator - Expert Certification
- 5+ years of hands-on RSA Archer configuration experience in an enterprise environment
- Experience configuring Assessment & Authorization (A&A), Controls Assurance, and Issues Management modules
- Strong experience building and managing workflows, forms, questionnaires, calculations, and role-based access controls within Archer
- Experience developing and supporting REST API integrations between Archer and external enterprise systems (e.g., ITSM/CMDB platforms)
- Proficiency with JavaScript and jQuery for Archer customizations
- Experience working in compliance-driven environments aligned to frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, or SOC
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Must reside in the Austin, TX area and be available to work onsite
