Design, develop, and maintain modern web and mobile applications, primarily using JavaScript and Java
Build and integrate APIs and event-driven services using cloud-native technologies
Work with AWS services (e.g., S3, Lambda) to process and manage application data flows

Implement and maintain observability and monitoring solutions (e.g., Honeycomb, Splunk)
Ensure application security best practices, including API security and gateway management (e.g., Kong)

qualifications:
Required Qualifications
robust experience in JavaScript and Java development
Hands-on experience with AWS services, particularly S3, Lambda, and API-driven architectures
Familiarity with real-time communication technologies (e.g., WebSockets)
Experience with observability and monitoring tools such as Honeycomb or Splunk
Working knowledge of API security and gateway tools (e.g., Kong)
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with frequent pivots
robust problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Genesys or similar customer interaction platforms
Background in platform engineering or enterprise-scale systems
Experience mentoring or coaching other developers
Familiarity with secure application development practices and vulnerability management
