job summary:
Our enterprise client has a hybrid contract opening for a highly technical QA Engineer to support large initiatives across API and UI automation.

The team uses a mix of legacy and modern frameworks. While exact tool matches are a major plus, strong technical capability in these ecosystems is the priority.

responsibilities:
 Develop and execute API and UI automated tests

 Support a React platform modernization (micro-frontends, security, Docker)

 Contribute to maturing quality gates and assist with Legacy API migration

 Partner with DevOps to build and enhance CI/CD pipelines

 Work across multiple teams with minimal supervision

Experience with these type of projects:

 React architecture and platform upgrade

 Legacy .NET Framework API migration to .NET Core

 CI/CD pipeline expansion

 
qualifications:
Strong experience in API + UI test automation

 Tools/Tech:

o ReadyAPI / SoapUI (Groovy)

o Playwright (TypeScript/JavaScript)

o Bruno

o Jest

o GitHub

 APIs: REST, GraphQL, SOAP (Vb.NET/C#)

 Experience with CI/CD pipelines

Nice to Have:

 Docker / containerization

 SonarQube

 Experience with micro-frontend architecture
