responsibilities:
As the inaugural Financial Reporting Manager, you won't just be "doing the books"-you will be building the infrastructure that supports a billion-dollar enterprise. You will act as a vital advisor to senior leadership, transforming raw data into the strategic insights that drive the company's next phase of expansion.
- Financial Architecture: Lead the preparation and review of comprehensive, GAAP-compliant monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Close Leadership: Orchestrate the monthly close process, providing oversight on journal entries, reconciliations, and complex supporting schedules.
- Strategic Storytelling: Develop high-level reporting packages that translate variance analysis and market trends into actionable intelligence for the executive team.
- Optimization & Controls: Audit and enhance internal controls and documentation to ensure reporting is both scalable and bulletproof.
- Interdepartmental Partnership: Serve as the bridge between FP&A and Operations, ensuring data integrity and resolving cross-functional discrepancies.
- Digital Transformation: Drive the evolution of operational dashboards and KPIs, supporting future ERP enhancements and automation initiatives.
qualifications:
- Experience: 4+ years of progressive experience in financial reporting or corporate accounting.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Certification: CPA is strongly preferred, demonstrating a commitment to technical excellence.
- Technical Edge: Advanced Excel mastery and hands-on experience with ERP/consolidation software.
- Compliance Expert: Deep technical knowledge of GAAP and IFRS standards.
- Ambition: A desire to lead, mentor, and eventually manage a team as the department expands.
