    job summary: Large utility is looking for a Site Field Checker in Saginaw, MI. Candidate must have knowledge of Electric line construction methods/procedures, roadway protection requirements, Capabilities of tools and equipment, ability to read/understand blueprints used in line construction, and a keen sense of and ability to identify and mitigate safety hazards on the jobsite prior to the crew arriving to perform work. This is a contract position estimated to last 6 months, possible extension, possible temp to perm. Skills: Must have knowledge of Electric line construction methods/procedures, roadway protection requirements, Capabilities of tools and equipment, ability to read/understand blueprints used in line construction, and a keen sense of and ability to identify and mitigate safety hazards on the jobsite prior to the crew arriving to perform work.Basic skills in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook) and proficiency in uploading/downloading files from remote locations via wireless connectivity will also be required.The successful candidate must be dependable with good time management skills and ability to organize/prioritize workload to meet a schedule. They must also possess excellent communication skills and be a team player.
