job summary: A Supply Management Specialist is needed for an American corporation that manufactures agricultural, construction, and forestry machinery, diesel engines, drivetrains (axles, transmissions, gearboxes) used in heavy equipment, and lawn care equipment in the Ankeny, IA area. This is a supply chain role for a business graduate responsible for managing part deliveries, analyzing supplier data, and supporting commodity strategies to ensure efficient order fulfillment and supplier performance. location: Ankeny, Iowa job type: Contract salary: $17.25 - 27.80 per hour work hours: 8am to 5pm education: Bachelors responsibilities: Manage purchased parts delivery for internal and external suppliers across multiple locations.Execute planning activities within the Enterprise Product Delivery and Order Fulfillment processes.Develop and enforce strategies and contracts for low-value commodity groups.Collate and analyze supply chain data using cost models, spend analysis, and make-vs-buy studies.Resolve invoice issues and routine functional inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.Monitor and manage supplier performance using the Achieving Excellence process.Address chronic supplier performance issues in collaboration with Strategic Sourcing.Conduct quality tests, inspections, and gap analyses to ensure operational standards.Produce and update complex documents and databases using Microsoft Office and SAP.Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process enhancements.Ensure all work adheres to organizational policies, regulatory codes, and best practices.
