Accounting Administrative Assistant Location: On-site | Sunrise, Florida A growing company in Sunrise is looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting Administrative Assistant to join our team. This is a full-time, on-site role for someone who is comfortable wearing many hats, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and brings accounting and administrative experience—particularly in QuickBooks Enterprise. In this role, you’ll play a key part in supporting the financial operations of the business. From managing payroll and performing reconciliations to handling accounts payable/receivable and tracking imports, you’ll have the opportunity to work across several vital functions that help keep the company running smoothly. Key Responsibilities Include: Processing biweekly payroll in compliance with labor regulations Posting journal entries and supporting the month-end close process Reconciling bank accounts, credit card transactions, and financial reports Using QuickBooks Enterprise for invoicing, payments, and reporting Monitoring cash flow and maintaining accurate financial records Managing AP and AR, including vendor payments and customer collections Preparing budgets, tax filings, and financial statements Supporting internal and external audits Tracking imports and maintaining all necessary documentation Responding to client, vendor, and internal financial inquiries Performing administrative tasks, including data entry and office coordination Maintaining well-organized filing systems for financial and administrative records What We’re Looking For: Degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Experience in both accounting and administrative support QuickBooks Enterprise proficiency is required Knowledge of payroll processing, reconciliations, and financial statements Familiarity with import tracking and supporting documentation Solid understanding of general accounting principles and compliance standards skills in Excel and Microsoft Office Suite Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently Excellent communication and problem-solving skills If you're ready to join a tight-knit, collaborative team and take on a role where your accuracy and organization truly make a difference, we’d love to hear from you.salary: $59,000 - $60,000 per yearshift: Firstwork hours: 8 AM - 4 PMeducation: AssociateResponsibilitiesResponsibilities: Process biweekly payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance with labor laws.
