A global humanitarian organization is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Events Project Manager to lead the planning of its bi-annual Global Leadership Forum. This is a unique opportunity to use your project management and event planning expertise to support a global event dedicated to empowering leaders and advancing a mission to end poverty. In this role, you will be the lead orchestrator of a week-long forum in Turkey for 80-100 leaders from around the world. From the initial planning stages to the event's conclusion in May 2026, you'll manage a variety of work streams, including content, logistics, communications, and on-site event management. You'll partner with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure all deadlines are met and that the event runs smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in global event planning, a background in project management, and a knack for juggling multiple priorities with precision. You'll need to be an excellent communicator who can work independently and effectively with a diverse, international team. This is a temporary, remote position that requires travel to the event location in Turkey. Coordinate with internal and external partners, including a certified facilitator and content designer, to ensure all project deadlines and goals are met. Handle comprehensive event logistics from kickoff to completion, including sourcing and securing the venue, managing catering and accommodations, and arranging transportation. Oversee all aspects of travel and security, including coordinating international travel for attendees and ensuring all necessary visas and documents are secured. Create and manage project timelines, agendas, and action items, while leading regular meetings and providing clear communication to all stakeholders. Manage on-site event logistics in Turkey, providing support and ensuring a seamless experience for all attendees.
