This role is critical for ensuring production efficiency and quality. Essential Duties: Read and interpret blueprints and CAD drawings to determine project specifications. Set up and operate manual and CNC machine tools (lathes, mills, grinders) to fabricate parts to exact tolerances. Assemble, fit, and repair complex tools and dies. Perform diagnostic tests and quality checks using precision measuring instruments like micrometers and calipers. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot issues and improve tool designs. Required Qualifications: Proven experience as a Tool and Die Maker, preferably with completion of a formal apprenticeship or equivalent training. Proficiency in operating a wide range of machine shop equipment. Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints. Expertise with precision measuring tools and a keen eye for detail. Excellent mechanical and problem-solving skills.
