Setting up and maintaining various cable and wire processing machines. Perform mechanical assembly on various electrical devices. Set-up and use of wire processing and crimp machines. Comprehend assembly drawings and follow assembly processes and procedures. Use tools provided for the manufacture of electronics and/or cable assemblies, i.e., solder stations, wire strippers, crimp tools, etc. Adhere to Quality procedures to ensure safety of product. Performs standard testing and minor troubleshooting. Performs duties as assigned that may periodically be repetitive in nature. Essential Skills and Experience: Minimum of a high school diploma and 1-3 years related experience in the electronics field, or equivalent experience and training. Precision hand soldering of surface mount and through-hole components is a plus. Computer competency in MS Office; Outlook, Excel, Word, accessing computer network drives etc. and ability to access information needed is a plus. Quality orientated with high attention to detail. Maintain a clean and safe work area. Perform basic mathematics and measuring (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division; use a ruler to measure lengths and widths accurately).
