We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Administrator with a background in the flooring industry. The ideal candidate will be a crucial part of our team, responsible for managing daily office operations, providing administrative support, and ensuring the smooth flow of communication between our sales, installation, and client teams. This role requires a unique blend of administrative expertise and specific knowledge of flooring products, terminology, and processessalary: $20 - $21 per hourshift: Firstwork hours: 8 AM - 5 PMeducation: High SchoolResponsibilities Administrative Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for incoming calls, emails, and visitors. Manage and organize office files, documents, and records, both physical and digital. Handle correspondence, including drafting emails, letters, and memos. Schedule and coordinate appointments, meetings, and project timelines. Maintain and order office supplies, ensuring the office is well-stocked. Assist with invoicing, billing, and basic accounting tasks. Flooring Industry Specific Duties: Process and manage sales orders, including verifying product codes, quantities, and pricing for various flooring types (e.g., hardwood, laminate, vinyl, carpet, tile). Prepare and track project paperwork, including estimates, proposals, and change orders. Communicate with suppliers and vendors regarding product availability, lead times, and shipping. Coordinate with the installation team to schedule projects and ensure all necessary materials are available on-site. Maintain a working knowledge of different flooring materials, their characteristics, and installation requirements. Assist with customer inquiries related to flooring products, warranties, and care instructions. Update and maintain customer relationship management (CRM) software with accurate project details and client information.
