In this dual clinical and administrative role, you will work closely with physicians, nurses, and administrative staff to deliver exceptional patient care, streamline daily clinical operations, and ensure a seamless experience for every patient who walks through our doors. Certification: Current certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA through AAMA, CCMA through NHA, or RMA through AMT) is required.salary: $40,000 - $41,600 per yearshift: Firstwork hours: 7:30 AM - 5 PMeducation: High SchoolResponsibilities Patient Intake: Escort patients to exam rooms, record vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, temperature, height, weight), and accurately document medical history, chief complaints, and current medications in the EHR. Provider Support: Prepare patients for examinations, assist physicians during routine exams and minor outpatient procedures, and hand instruments as needed. Diagnostic Testing & Specimen Collection: Perform routine diagnostic tests (EKG, capillary blood glucose, urinalysis) and collect/process laboratory specimens following standard safety guidelines. Phlebotomy & Injections: Administer routine vaccinations, intramuscular/subcutaneous injections, and perform venipunctures under physician supervision. Room & Equipment Preparation: Sterilize medical instruments, clean and sanitize exam rooms between visits, and maintain clinical inventory by stocking supplies. General Administration: Handle daily administrative tasks including scheduling appointments, managing patient recalls, processing copayments, and scanning/filing medical documentation.
