The Warehouse Manager leads daily warehouse operations in a fast-paced food distribution environment, ensuring efficient inventory management, accurate order fulfilment, and on-time distribution.This role is responsible for ensuring that the warehouse operates at peak efficiency, with customer satisfaction as the primary goal, by supervising, organizing, and training warehouse employees, as well as establishing, monitoring, and managing operational objectives. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, possesses strong leadership and organizational skills and is capable of managing multiple aspects of warehouse operations simultaneously in a dynamic and demanding environment.salary: $75,000 - $85,000 per yearshift: Firstwork hours: 9 AM - 5 PMeducation: BachelorsResponsibilities Develop warehouse operating systems by determining product handling and storage requirements, equipment utilization, inventory control processes, gate processes, and shipping methods. Train and manage the warehouse team to resolve day-to-day operational issues and achieve both short and long-term performance goals. Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing and enforcing standards and procedures, and ensuring compliance with all applicable legal regulations. Supervise daily warehouse activities, including quality assurance, inventory control, space management, logistics, floor productivity, shipping, and customer service. Schedule and oversee warehouse team, and manage the flow and quality of work to maximize efficiency and minimize overtime. Conduct regular inspections of equipment, tools, and machinery and coordinate maintenance and repairs when necessary. Meet regularly with warehouse supervisor and team leads to review productivity, identify operational challenges and develop actionable plans for loss prevention strategies. Oversee and manage logistics operations for transporting products to customers and company facilities, communicating with drivers and freight partners to ensure timely and efficient deliveries.
