Daily responsibilities include maintaining inventory of parts and supplies at the workstation and accumulating necessary materials using the product parts list. The individual must read assembly instructions, diagrams, or schematics to determine the assembly sequence. Key tasks involve inspecting and adjusting parts for proper assembly, examining connections for correct fit and torque, and verifying specifications by performing prescribed electrical tests, if applicable, to ensure the unit's proper functionality. The employee must identify product defects and complete rejection paperwork. They are also responsible for reworking and testing defective units according to engineering specifications, ensuring all work is quality-minded and accurate.
